Personal Info:
My name is Herman van Wyk (Better know as Dj_Forever on the net). I live in Johannesburg South-Africa, and I go to Hoërskool Die Fakkel. It sounds weird but it's an Afrikaans highschool, and I'm afrikaans. I'm in standard 9 (or grade 11 as most ppl know it by). I'm a total computer freak, I love programming and making graphics...And better yet, that's what this page is about... I haven't written any magor proggy's yet, but the one's I have written is available on the download section of this page. The following is info on some of my stuff:
Sosial activitys: I'm part of the S.A.P.G (South African programmes group).
Languages I know: Pascal/Assembler/Studying C++/Studying Visual Basic.
Programming interests: My top interest in computer programming is in the line of computer graphics and games. I strive to create optimized graphics routines and cool games, but I'm still studying so don't expect any of those soon...;-)
Notes:
I'll be adding most of my programming work on this site so feel free to download them and use them on the terms described in the source code. I am also looking for ppl who might be interested in forming a group, you know, like a demo-group or gamegroup or something. As a group member you'll be helping on writing graphics or games or whatever comes to mind. If you might be interested in something like this, send me an e-mail.
I don't have much time to write software right now, but when I get ppl who want's to form a group, I'll make more time for this. I'm actually looking for ppl from South-Africa who'd like to start something like this, but if your overseas and your interested, I'll consider the idea.
I wanna start writing tutors on graphics. I know there's millions out there, but I think mine will make a difference due to the fact that mine will be easy understandable. For further information or comments on this, please mail me.
